International Flight? No, I’m about to start an International Fight!

I experienced my first international flight today. Here’s why it was terrible:

• I had a window seat

• The woman sitting in front of me was in the exit row, and still decided to recline her seat right into my knees

• The woman next to me took the center armrest, then left all her garbage on the floor

• I fell asleep so early that I missed dinner

• I only slept for 3 hours, then played In-Flight Tetris, and failed to sleep for the remaining 3 hours

I hate to complain so much because Ireland has been really cool so far (more on that later), but it was a miserable 7 and a half hours and subsequent jet lag symptoms.

Oh, but I did get to see the night sky in its full glory from the airplane window. It was really pretty, but the photo doesn’t do it justice at all.

And I got these snazzy headphones! But they have two prongs - who designed these??

I’m going to the Guinness Storehouse tour tomorrow morning - hopefully that can help me recover from this perpetual sleepiness.
